Temiskaming Hospital is excited to announce our first Community Classroom!
A new initiative designed to bring practical health education, helpful resources, and meaningful connections to our community!
Our first session focuses on supporting older adults and their caregivers, with helpful information and strategies for navigating common challenges, including confusion, agitation, and changes in behaviour.
Using our Learn – Explore – Connect approach, attendees will have the opportunity to:
Learn from Dr. Don Davies about supporting older adults and understanding their changing needs.
Explore local programs, services, and resources available to older adults and their caregivers.
Connect directly with community organizations and professionals who can offer guidance and support.
