French Language Services

Temiskaming Hospital is committed to providing services in both French and English to our patients and visitors . All patients and visitors are entitled to receive services in the official language of their choice from their initial arrival
to the Hospital and throughout the duration of their visit. 

Access to French Language Services (FLS)

The Hospital provides:

  • Availability of French-speaking staff in all direct patient care services

  • Simultaneous publication of all news and social medical in English and French

  • Availability of patient forms and educational material in both languages

  • Resolution of patient complaints in a timely manner related to the provision of French Language Services
